I'm very intrigued by the idea of a conflict resolution system that uses a randomized system in the "Settlers of Catan" style. Intrigued, yet unable to wrap my head around how it would possibly work. Perhaps that's why you're the game designer and I'm not, eh? Keep us posted, and keep sending podcast-y goodness to my 'catcher.

My gaming style differs from yours, and I think that I would have problems initially gaming in the styles that you have talked about.

However, while my style differs from yours, I like the styles that you have brought up, they make me curious to try them, to learn more about them, and if we do not learn as we live, then what is the point?
