Hello Sam,
This is David Moore from the After Serenity podcast, and I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for putting out your podcast, and thank you for all of the ideas and thoughts that you put into your podcast. My gaming style differs from yours, and I think that I would have problems initially gaming in the styles that you have talked about.
However, while my style differs from yours, I like the styles that you have brought up, they make me curious to try them, to learn more about them, and if we do not learn as we live, then what is the point?
Please keep up the good work, and continuing to make me think with an open mind.
Thank you.

David,
Thanks for your comment! I appreciate you taking the time to talk to me. I’m interested in knowing more about the differences we share. I’d be willing to bet that we both have similiar LARPing styles, based on the After Serenity promo I’ve heard. I’ll check out your podcast. Thanks again for the feedback.

Sam,
Glad to hear you’ve overcome the Dread and Sullen Lords of Silence. Welcome back to the sound and fury, such as it is.
I’m very intrigued by the idea of a conflict resolution system that uses a randomized system in the “Settlers of Catan” style. Intrigued, yet unable to wrap my head around how it would possibly work. Perhaps that’s why you’re the game designer and I’m not, eh? Keep us posted, and keep sending podcast-y goodness to my ‘catcher.

Thanks, KJ! Actually, the Lords of Silence have come back with a vengeance for Round 2, but I’m not on the mat yet!
The reason that you can’t wrap your head around it yet is that it was only half-formed when I talked about it. Still working on that.
