The Bear’s Grove 38: Interview with Were-Cabbages Rone Barton and Ed Healy

February 24th, 2008

I had a great conversation with two members of the team responsible for the True 20 Blood Throne supplement “Blight Elves: Architects of Despair,” about the book and about their play habits.

You can find out more about this book at Reality Deviants Publications and more about the Were-Cabbages here.

In case you were wondering whether the explicit tag on this podcast is real, IT IS. THIS PODCAST IS EXPLICIT. It is NOT for children! Listen without headphones at work at your own risk.

The Blight Elves are very icky creatures and some of their nihilist, entropy-worshiping practices are downright offensive. To be clear, the book doesn’t hold them out as paragons, either.

I think it’s pretty clear that these Blight Elves are EVIL! But not in the “They’re evil because they are” sort of way. No, no, there’s a lot of reasons why they are. Some of them are cultural and some of them are religious. But they’re all out to make you commit suicide. Basically. Evil.

Also in the podcast you’ll hear an unauthorized promo I made for The Independent Insurgency and an authorized promo for The Game Master Show
